About Us
Alpha College of Engineering is located in the salubrious outskirts of Bangalore.
The city has metamorphosised from being merely the silicon valley of India and melting
pot of our diverse cultures to one of the information capitals of the world. It is a forerunner
in knowledge expertise in the today's fast paced information age. The college is fourteen
kilometers from Bangalore city railway station and 200 meters away from outer peripheral
ring road and Express Highway connecting to Devanahalli International Airport.
The college is spread across ten acres of tranquil landscape and is situated amidst
pristine farmland and a seasonal lake. This serene atmosphere invigorates the students
academic learning, freeing them from the distractions of the city. The college has spacious
lecture halls, well equipped laboratories and an excellent library. The outstation students
are provided with excellent hostel facilities. The college is well accessible through the
public transport as well as College transit facility.
The Alpha College of Engineering offers graduate programmes in the following
areas of Engineering. These courses consist of eight semesters over duration of four
academic years.
The Degree Courses Offered are :
- Bachelor of Electronics and Communication.
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
- Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering.
- Bachelor of Information Science and Engineering.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
These courses are affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum
and approved by A.I.C.T.E., NewDelhi & Government of Karnataka
The college hosts faculty of high integrity and commitment. They are an asset to the
Institution. Each department has qualified and accomplished teachers in their respective
areas of expertise. The faculty always endeavor to impart training based on the future
trends of the industry.
The Computer Science laboratory is equipped with the latest hardware and
software technologies. The laboratory provides connectivity to the World Wide Web. The
Physics, Chemistry and Mechanical Workshop Laboratories have necessary infrastructure
for conducting various experiments prescribed by the University.
